Barbara Schastok is a Swiss painter and lives as a resident on the island of Mallorca. Her passion for colors and forms and the use of mixed medias to create profound compositions, are impressive. Her art, vibrating and dynamic, reflects the constant cycle of life.

The compositions of colors connected with contrasts of colors and the arrangement of lines and shapes form the tension ed arc of the picture.

Either the representational as well as the non-representational pictures talk to us without using the circuitous route of conceptual articulation. They either appeal to us or not.
